Favourite weapon and why?

SO in AC, AC2 and AC:B - which weapon is your favourite and why?

In AC my fav. weapon must be the short knife. It seems faster, swifter and more agile than the sword. Also I love using the throwing knives!

In AC2 - double hidden blades. Need I say more?

AC:B - Freaking crossbow. I mean - come on! We've been waiting for that thing ever since the first game. Firing a deadly arrow, sending your targets flying off the rooftops with a piece of pointy wood coming out of their chest. What's not to like?

So, guys - what about you?

You described my three favourite weapons.
I was waiting for that crossbow since I saw it on Altair's back, the very first 5 seconds of AC-I.

I would have to say the hidden blade. Throughout all three games. Think about it:

-It is the only weapon that can be used in public without anyone noticing. (The poison blade being included in this).

-You can use two at once. (Unlike pretty much every other weapon in the game.)
EXCEPTION: Throwing Knives

-When used in counter kills, they are an immediate kill (unlike all the other weapons...)

-They are undeniably stylish...

i must agree on the facts though. but my personal choice is the three in the first post mentioned weapons.
